Sobhana George is trying her luck in Malayalam Film Industry recently.
Former MLA Sobhana George is producing the movie Pratheekshayode, under the banner of Chengannur Films. She has penned the story and screenplay of the movie. Snoba Alex is directing the movie and dialogue is also penned by him.
Pratheekshayode is the story about Manasi (Anupama), who loses her vision due to a rare eye disease. She loses sight bit by bit with each passing day. She is residing with her sister Bhama (Swetha Menon) and her husband Sivanandan (Mukesh).
Master Dhananjayan plays the role of Amal, Bhama's son. One fine day, Bhama and her husband lose their lives in an accident. Amal discontinues his school as he feels that the responsibility of looking after his aunt is his.
Being a child he was not allowed to do a job. Amal thought that the only way he could make money was through robbery. At this juncture, Amal was protected by an MLA (Sobhana George).
The shooting for the film Pratheekshayode is progressing at the locations near Chengannur and Parumala. Kishan Sagar is cranking the camera. Suraj, Manikuttan, Indrans, Kulapulli Leela, Manasi and Kanakalatha will also be seen in the movie.
