The total number of the actor's Facebook followers had crossed the magical digit of 123456.
Doubling his delight, one among his Facebook friends, Susheela George gave the actor a surprise visit and handed over a cheque of Rs 30 lakh. Mammootty has been actively involved in raising funds for Care and Share foundation, a philanthropic organisation, through social media. He had earlier posted a request both in his blog and twitter seeking financial aid for conducting heart surgeries in children.
Chairperson of Sherwood Group of Schools, Susheela, had then itself responded through twitter that she was willing to support the mission by donating Rs 1 crore. She had already contributed Rs 20 lakh to the cause.
Meanwhile, with more and more fans dropping in at the sets of Cobra in Kalamassery, Mammootty obliged and cut a cake as well.
